Our personal tastes might not be aligned with thoughts of accepting those that are different from us.  We might not be inclined to fall in love with them, but we can still love them enough to meet the Lord's requirement in His statement: "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44).

Racism (addressed in "Not For Your Snow") will not have any place in heaven, so why are people so divided on earth? The two most estranged races: black and white (along with any other) must find common ground for peace in their existence. Better yet, they must find that common thread that links all of God’s people to Himself and to one another—the blood of Jesus. Can we make it to heaven, being a racist set of people? HELL NO! What are we doing about it? Let's hope that people will start loving their brothers and sisters; really love them—regardless of the colour of their skin.
