Not For Your Snow

As a deacon I must ask my brothers and sisters in Christ: Do you still see the slave masters in their white descendants, where this blocks your ability to love them? Descendants; do you see yourselves as being superior to the children of slaves. If the answer to either is "yes", we are in trouble. Heaven's list of candidates may not include you. We have to let the past go. God will not hold us guiltless for harbouring hatred. There are so many persons on edge in the world today because of racism. It is like a ticking time bomb. Where is the love of Christ in us for our fellow man? Jesus said that whatever you do to the least of His brethren, you do unto Him.

Yes, there were lynchings and rapes. There were the middle passage in the ships from Africa, the deaths and the beatings. Yes, there were the name changes and the alterations in the colour of the skin, to include lighter shades of black. The black race metamorphasized with white slave masters having their way with black women, and giving the children their names. But Jesus has gone through the trouble of saying love your enemies?

On March, 9th, 2014, theLord spoke forcibly to the entire church at Old Harbour New Testament Church of God in Jamaica. He said: "Don't you believe that heaven is real? Dont you believe that hell is real? There are bishops in hell! There are evangelists in hell! There are praise-and-worship leaders in hell! They cry to me from that place of torment, but there is no repentance in the grave. How can you expect me to forgive you when you will not forgive your brothers and sisters?..."
